The government authority in Tucson, Arizona seeks qualified vendors to provide relocation consulting and related services for the relocation of residents and/or businesses pursuant to applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The selected vendor is expected to deliver comprehensive relocation services, including the development and execution of resident engagement strategies such as targeted outreach and in-person community meetings.
Vendors must analyze all anticipated funding sources to identify relocation requirements, implement compliance controls and quality assurance measures, and conduct team calls with the Department of Housing and Community Development as appropriate. Effective risk mitigation to protect both movers and tenants, as well as management of logistical and environmental risks, is essential. Services will also include ensuring resident readiness, analyzing tenant needs around transportation and reasonable accommodations, and supporting fair housing requirements.
Project management responsibilities include scheduling, case documentation, development of necessary administrative policies, procedures, and forms, and strict adherence to all relevant RAD rules and relocation laws. Regular communication is required, with weekly written reports until tenants are temporarily relocated, and resuming reporting when move-backs begin. Coordination across project team members and agency representatives forms a core aspect of this role.
Best-fit vendors:
• Experience in relocation consulting for government authorities
• Expertise with federal, state, and local relocation regulations (including RAD)
• Proven ability to manage complex resident and business moves
• Demonstrated capability in resident engagement and risk mitigation
• Strong project management and documentation skills
• Established operations or presence in Arizona or the Southwestern United States
