A government authority in Oregon seeks a vendor to provide relocation consultant services on an as-needed basis for projects related to the rehabilitation of affordable housing units and the disposition of public housing units. The consultant will assist with planning and project management, including delivering relocation services to existing residents, advocating for their needs, maintaining knowledgeable staff on local, state, and federal regulations, conducting residential market surveys, and determining comparable benefits for agency review.

Responsibilities further include participating in community and neighborhood meetings, providing ongoing and accurate information to displaced individuals, preparing and coordinating timely notices, and collaborating with the agency on voucher initiation. The consultant will handle resident assessment and case management, identifying all tenants and owners, determining eligibility for relocation benefits, conducting personal surveys, developing individualized relocation plans and exit strategies, and assisting residents with documentation and housing application screening.
