(1) Vendor needs to provide ramp remove and replace service to the government authority located in Brooklyn, NY.– Front of residence ramp remove and replace:– Removal of all joists, runners, beams, all wood decking materials and substructure supports.– All reconstruction of ramp shall be in pressure treated lumber.– Runners on substructure shall be composite material. (ex: Veka decking or similar solid composite, Trex is not an option)– All decking and supports material product specifications shall be submitted prior to development/installation for Plant Superintendent review– Handrails shall be installed at appropriate height for wheelchair use. Narrowing the residence exterior hallway ramp handrails are not an option. Maximum width shall be attained.– Handrails shall be secured in kind and properly attached to home and/or base for rigidity. 4 x 4 SYP– PTL is required after the ramp hallway clearance for proper attachment to handrails and rigidity to concrete poured columns.– All decking to be nonslip in design.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) Mandatory Pre–bid meeting will be held on January 30, 2026.
