The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking information from suppliers regarding the availability and capability of providing a QuestaSim software license. This license will support the development, simulation, and verification of FPGA designs as part of a memory device characterization platform. The project will involve programming and reading memory devices, as well as leveraging FPGAs to handle computationally intensive tasks.

The QuestaSim VHDL/Verilog Simulation and Verification Software will enable functional and behavioral accuracy in FPGA design, ensuring all features are thoroughly simulated and verified prior to implementation. The license is intended for installation on a laboratory server, with floating license capabilities to allow access by multiple engineers and scientists involved in the project. NIST is conducting market research to help determine the most appropriate acquisition strategy for this requirement.
