DESCRIPTION

This RFP seeks a vendor to provide quality control (QC) data management software for deployment across multiple laboratory sites. The software will support comprehensive data access, analysis, review, management, tracking, statistical evaluation, and verification of both quantitative and qualitative QC data. It must allow for assignment of user permissions at various levels, including basic operator, key operator, and administrator roles.

Key requirements include the ability to capture real-time QC data from a variety of analyzers, instrument managers, and middleware software without manual intervention, as well as supporting manual data entry when necessary. The solution must facilitate multiple levels of QC data review, including bench-level and supervisory oversight, with features for reviewer identification or electronic signatures. Centralized administrative access is required for reviewing QC performance across all laboratory sites.

Other critical features include robust data validation, automatic calculation of statistical parameters (mean, SD, CV, standard error, measurement of uncertainty), and support for complex QC rule applications such as Levey–Jennings multi-rule QC and Westgard rules. The software should allow for customization of QC rules to optimize error detection and minimize false rejections, as well as enable comparisons of assay data across multiple instruments. Compatibility with third-party and in-house QC materials, and seamless integration with Data Innovation (DI) or other middleware solutions, are also essential.
