A government authority in Woodbine, Georgia, is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive construction services for a new public works and fleet building. The project involves the development of 11.2 acres within a 22-acre site, including the creation of a new entry drive from Georgia Highway 110, paved and unpaved parking areas, underground water and sewer installation, site lighting, new fuel island, irrigation system, chain link fencing, automatic gate system, flag pole, sidewalks, site and field grading, detention pond, swales, landscaping, as well as lighting poles and related electrical systems for the parking lots.
The scope also features the construction of a 14,000 square foot pre-engineered metal building with reinforced concrete slab, a 5-ton bridge crane, storage mezzanine, and designated office (5,011 sq. ft.) and shop (9,069 sq. ft.) areas divided by a two-hour rated steel stud wall. Work includes installation of overhead doors, acoustical and gypsum board ceilings, cabinetry, toilet fixtures and accessories, storefront systems, ceramic tile, luxury vinyl plank and carpet tile flooring, pipe bollards, rubber base, various types of doors and frames, domestic water systems, ventilated and heated shop zones with fume extractors, multiple HVAC systems, LED lighting, low voltage infrastructure, an ERRC system, CCTV and data cabling, diesel generator, and specialized electrical configurations for power distribution.
All site cleaning associated with the project is also required. Interested parties must submit any questions regarding the project by January 26, 2026. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled for January 20, 2026 is required for consideration.
