The selected vendor will provide consulting services focused on public transit technology strategy and innovation. Responsibilities include offering technology leadership with insights, guidance, and recommendations related to industry best practices, current and emerging trends, and proven methodologies relevant to public transit agencies as well as other asset-intensive, publicly funded, and safety-critical organizations.
Expertise is required in software application management, software vendor management, data engineering, change management, data analytics, report design, regulatory compliance, and the evaluation of emerging technologies and their potential impact on transit operations. The consultant will deliver an informed external perspective, identify strengths and weaknesses in current technology practices, share best practices and lessons from similar organizations, and develop actionable, prioritized recommendations for agency leadership.
Support will be provided to help guide informed decision-making regarding technology strategy, governance, and operating models. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted by March 13, 2026. The anticipated contract duration is one year.
