The selected vendor will provide comprehensive community outreach services to enhance public awareness of public transit brands and services, with the goal of increasing ridership and supporting existing transit strategic objectives. Services include promoting intercity bus services, coordinating regional transit initiatives, managing free-fare programs, and developing Spanish-language outreach, as well as disseminating general information about transit and transportation programs.
The consultant will be responsible for managing all social media accounts by creating and implementing a monthly organic social media calendar, curating posts, monitoring audience engagement, and providing timely transit information across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. Responsibilities also include developing and managing boosted social media posts for targeted campaigns, designing graphics and collateral materials, managing photo and video assets, and maintaining consistent messaging across all printed and online platforms including fleet branding, decals, and transit website pages.
The consultant must work closely with staff to optimize platform selection for campaigns, draft written content for review, and handle production of all collateral needed to support outreach efforts.
