Key responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with travel, lifestyle, and business media, conducting targeted outreach with a focus on message alignment and high-quality coverage, and curating media lists using industry-standard tools. The vendor will manage a media opportunity pipeline tracker to document outreach, engagement, secured coverage, and follow-up actions, emphasizing qualitative results over pitch volume. Additional duties involve organizing a photo and video asset library, developing press materials such as press releases, media kits, story starters, and editorial calendars, and participating in editorial planning to highlight unique aspects of Chattahoochee Hills.

The scope also includes recommending and delivering a minimum amount of content—such as story starters, quarterly fact sheet updates, and themed itineraries for various tourism experiences. The firm will plan and execute hosted media and influencer visits, provide crisis communications support and rapid response planning, as well as track, analyze, and report on PR activities and outcomes, offering recommendations for ongoing improvement. Content creation and publishing are also within scope if proposed, with clear expectations on channels, cadence, and community engagement.
