Vendor needs to provide public relations and strategic communications services, including development and implementation of a public information and strategic communications plan to educate the community, property owners, and interested parties about the impacts of invasive junipers and the benefits of juniper removal. The RFP seeks a consultant with demonstrated qualifications for a collaborative relationship with the agency through a professional services contract. Scope includes: creating a report assessing communication needs and strategies to engage target audiences, developing clear messaging for the juniper removal program, providing examples and outlines of media campaigns (including print, web, and video materials with cost estimates), and preparing materials to promote small-scale juniper removal projects on private property within select watersheds. The selected vendor will coordinate with participating agencies to create web-based and printed materials illustrating activities and impacts, include stories connecting with heritage and culture, and prepare a project report with an informational graphic to share with the legislature in Fall 2026. All questions must be submitted by February 16, 2026.
