The selected vendor will provide comprehensive public engagement, social media, logo, and branding services to support a public sector ballot education initiative in Michigan. Key responsibilities include designing and executing strategic communications and public outreach campaigns, developing consistent and research-informed messaging, and expanding community engagement through multi-channel strategies and partnerships.
Vendors are expected to build broad understanding of the ballot initiative, establish a recognizable and accessible brand identity, and measure, report, and optimize engagement effectiveness. The scope of services encompasses public opinion research for message development and testing, creation of graphic and multimedia materials, and development of social media content such as graphics and video. Guidance on effective messaging strategies via social media channels, particularly for educational purposes, is also required. Proposals should include an overview of the strategic communications approach and methodologies for public opinion research and message refinement.
