The government authority in Vancouver, Washington seeks a qualified vendor to provide property casualty claims audit services. The selected auditor will review the claim reserving, adjusting, and payment procedures used in claims administration programs, evaluating processes and reporting on strengths, areas for improvement, findings, conclusions, and specific recommendations.
This audit will include an assessment of claims filing procedures, forms, and the adequacy of standards related to establishing and reviewing case reserves. Auditors will verify that reserves are set to match jury verdict values, reviewed at least every ninety days or as practicable, and properly documented within the claims diary. Additionally, the review will address adjuster workloads to ensure claims are processed efficiently and timely. A written report covering the numbers and types of claims handled, alongside adjuster activity, is required as part of the engagement.
