A government authority located in DeFuniak Springs, Florida seeks a vendor to provide property and casualty insurance brokerage services. The selected consultant will be responsible for marketing, negotiating, placing, and managing all aspects of the agency’s property, casualty, and liability insurance programs, including ancillary and specialty coverages. The scope also includes performing comprehensive reviews of the current insurance program and delivering written recommendations to improve coverage, reduce risk, and optimize the agency’s total cost of risk.

Additional responsibilities include assisting with the marketing and placement of insurance coverage, providing ongoing support services, offering risk management and loss control solutions, as well as claims advocacy. The consultant will also advise on risk transfer and contractual insurance matters and deliver comprehensive stewardship reports summarizing insurance program performance, claims activity, and trends.

Strategic advisory services are required, and all vendor questions must be submitted by March 9, 2026. The initial contract period will last for two years.
