Vendor needs to provide professional engineering services to the government authority located in Port Washington, NY. – Conduct an evaluation of the Project site and document existing site conditions. The Proposer shall identify, quantify, and report any discrepancies between observed site conditions and the approved permit documents. – Provide all required survey services within the identified project limits to establish the basis of design. Survey services shall be performed in accordance with State prevailing wage requirements. – The Proposer shall identify all required survey services within Proposal. – Identify and document the location of all existing underground and overhead utilities within Project limits. – Attend up to four design progress meetings with the Department of Public Works and other Town representatives. – Attend up to two coordination meetings with agency in support of the bulkhead permitting phase, including coordination of proposed work at the interface between the proposed bulkhead and the proposed recreational pier. – Prepare complete Construction Contract Documents, including Contract Drawings and Technical Specifications, in accordance with the standard Boiler Plate specifications. Final Construction Contract Documents shall strictly comply with the State Building Code, current ADA requirements, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. – Prepare a detailed construction cost estimate and construction schedule for the Project. – Provide Construction Administration services. The Proposer shall assume a minimum allocation of fifty (50) hours for Construction Administration, which shall include, but not be limited to, review of shop drawings and submittals, attendance of bi–weekly construction progress meetings (or as otherwise required), preparation of revised contract documents and sketches as necessary, and coordination related to regulatory compliance.
