(1) Vendor needs to provide professional engineering services to the government authority located in Gloucester, MA. – Provide professional environmental and solid waste engineering consulting services for compliance monitoring at the former municipal landfill. – Collect and analyze groundwater and surface water samples, evaluate the monitoring system, and assess groundwater water quality to ensure compliance. – Include the collection and analysis of fourteen groundwater samples, six surface water samples, one duplicate groundwater sample, and one trip blank per monitoring event for a total of 22 samples per event. – For each semi-annual monitoring event, the depth to groundwater will be measured in all monitoring wells. – For each semi-annual monitoring event, collect groundwater samples from fourteen groundwater monitoring wells. – For each semi-annual monitoring event, surface water samples will be collected from 6 locations. – For each semi-annual monitoring event, measurements of Ph, conductivity, temperature, and dissolved oxygen will be measured in the field utilizing the appropriate instrumentation. – For each semi-annual monitoring event, conduct trend analysis and an evaluation of the groundwater and surface water quality. – For each semi-annual monitoring event, perform an assessment of the existing dedicated sampling system. (2) The contract period will be for three years.
