Okeechobee County is seeking a qualified vendor to provide ongoing professional engineering services to support county operations. The selected firm will represent the county in matters that require professional engineering expertise, including correspondence and meetings with government agencies and private entities, as directed by the county administrator.

Responsibilities include monitoring and reporting on engineering, architectural, and related design, bidding, construction, and inspection projects throughout all phases, from proposal acceptance to final completion. The engineer will track progress on an incremental basis, advise contractors on scheduling issues, and recommend solutions to keep projects on schedule. Additional duties involve reviewing and commenting on county agenda items with engineering implications and advising department heads on specialized engineering matters.

The contract will be awarded for a one-year period. All vendor questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted by January 28, 2026.
