(1) Vendor needs to provide professional design engineering services including construction, demolition, installation, furnishing, abatement, inspection, or related activities are for design and construction–support reference purposes only and do not constitute construction services under this agreement to the government authority located in San Bernardino, CA. 1. Site Investigations and Assessments: Perform site investigations, field verification, measurements, and photo documentation for project–related areas, including the mechanical room, gymnasium, restrooms, electrical rooms, and associated building spaces impacted by the proposed improvements. Assess existing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architectural, accessibility, safety, and operational conditions relevant to the scope of work, including HVAC systems, controls, electrical infrastructure, lighting, gym equipment, restroom finishes, fixtures, and accessories. 2. Design Development and Construction Documents: Prepare a complete set of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates, for all work identified in the Tentative Bid Schedule (attached to this RFP). All drawings shall be prepared, signed, and sealed by the appropriate licensed design professional(s). The construction documents shall include, but not be limited to, the following: Plans identifying the location and extent of all proposed work throughout the facility, including the mechanical room, gymnasium, restrooms, electrical rooms, and other impacted building areas. (2) A pre–proposal meeting will be held on February 5, 2026. (3) All questions must be submitted no later than February 9, 2026.
