DESCRIPTION

The City of Lubbock is soliciting proposals for professional services to conduct the Assessment Center process for Police Department promotional classifications, including Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, and Assistant Police Chief. The selected consultant will be responsible for job analysis, development of exercises, assessor recruitment and training, scoring, and providing documentation to support the validity and defensibility of the process. The contract term is one year with the option for four one-year extensions.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must have demonstrated expertise and/or comparable experience in the development and administration of public safety promotional Assessment Centers
Must be independent of the Police Department and the City
Must maintain insurance coverage as required by the contract
Must provide a detailed fee schedule
