(1) Vendor needs to provide planning and passenger information system.– Integrated CAD–AVL system for both fixed– and on–demand (Dial–A–Ride) services.– Comprehensive GTFS (fixed, flex, and real time) capabilities.– Planning, scheduling and rostering components.– Database features for Driver, bus stop and passenger information portals.– Feature–rich and reliable trip planning mobile application.– Real–time passenger information.– Travel options and interoperability with other transit agencies and jurisdictions.– Internally manageable system capabilities.– Ability to create a GTFS–realtime feed to enhance real–time visibility of service vehicles in third party journey planning applications (e.g., neighbouring transit service providers, regional trip planner, Google Maps and Transit App) and to display real–time arrival estimates at stops, stations, and monitors.– Position smart’s service offerings as a viable alternative and complementary choice alongside other regional transit services and provide accurate data to the regional trip planner within journey planning applications. (2) A non–mandatory pre–bid conference will be held on January 26, 2026. (3) All questions must be submitted no later than January 30, 2026. (4) A contract period will be for one year.
