Plan Review and Inspection Services

The government authority in St. Augustine, Florida seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive plan review and inspection services. The selected firm will be responsible for general building, mechanical (HVAC), plumbing, structural, electrical, and site inspections, along with preparation and submission of all required administrative documentation as stipulated by the city.

Contractors will be required to inspect all permitted construction projects within the city limits to ensure full compliance with city codes, ordinances, and approved plans and specifications. Duties include entering results, reports from plan reviews, inspections, and complaints investigations into the city's permitting and planning database, as well as maintaining detailed records of all activities. Additional tasks include reviewing project plans for code adherence and performing any other duties pertinent to plan examination or inspections as assigned by the city.

Field performance will require the ability to safely access construction sites, operate vehicles, and physically navigate diverse and challenging conditions such as roofs, scaffolding, rebar, trenches, and confined spaces.
