(1) Vendor needs to provide pistol license permitting system. – Provide a replacement for the current Pistol Licensing application. – The existing application has reached end–of–life status, and the vendor has confirmed that no further support will be provided. – Configurable Software–as–a–Service (SaaS) solution for an online Pistol Permitting System. The system must streamline the entire pistol permit lifecycle while ensuring compliance with regulatory and technical standards. – The proposed system must support both agencies within a single, unified platform, while maintaining data segregation to ensure that users only access their respective records. – The solution must replace existing legacy systems, ensure zero data loss during migration, provide user–friendly, automated, and Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS)–compliant experience for both internal staff and public users. – These services include, but are not limited to: 1. Design 2. Implementation 3. Testing and Validation 4. Data Conversion and Migration 5. Maintenance 6. Support – The solution must integrate with third–party authentication using OpenID or Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) and offer Single Sign–On (SSO) capabilities for seamless and secure user access. – The solution must utilize SQL Server for data storage and management. – Provide intuitive dashboards for both agency staff and public stakeholders. – Allow administrators to customize workflows and modify the solution as needed, minimizing dependence on vendor support.
