(1) Vendor needs to provide pharmacy automated medication dispensing system. Nurses shall access the AMDS utilizing unique credentials, such as password or biometric data (e.g., fingerprint or iris recognition). The system must be capable of presenting an inventory of available medications for a selected patient in a patient-specific mode. The Automated Medication Dispensing System (AMDS) should offer a general or drug-specific operational mode for use in urgent situations. The system must provide guided navigation to the exact location of the selected medication within the cabinet. The system must be capable of automated dispensing, including counting, labelling, and packaging processes. Strict access controls, user authentication, and audit trails are required to secure patient information and medication dispensing procedures. Cabinets should be robust, durable, and secure, with a minimum of 200 medication slots. Must include a refrigeration module. The system must include a barcode scanning feature for accurate item identification and tracking throughout the dispensing process. Seamless integration with the Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR) system is essential. The system must be capable of triggering alerts for potential allergic reactions to medications. Built-in refrigeration units are necessary for temperature-sensitive medications. Touchscreen interfaces, barcode scanners, label printers, and redundant power supplies with battery backup are required. Network hardware must be provided for connectivity with the hospital's infrastructure. The software platform should support real-time tracking and advanced analytics. User roles and permissions must be defined to regulate access to medications. (2) All the questions must be submitted no later than December 15, 2025.
