The State of Michigan is seeking a vendor to provide a hosted, web-based pension administration software solution for its public employee retirement system. The system must leverage modern technology and incorporate industry best practices to deliver a comprehensive database platform suitable for managing all aspects of retirement benefits.

Key requirements include secure, around-the-clock remote access to handle any database emergencies, individual user tracking with features such as unique passwords, automatic lockdown after failed login attempts, and automatic shutdown after periods of inactivity. The solution should offer a robust suite of pension-related services, including benefit calculations, retirement estimates, and death and disability computations, supporting Retirement System staff, the Retirement Board, as well as plan members, retirees, and beneficiaries with accurate and immediate information.
