An Ontario agency is seeking a comprehensive payment processing solution compatible with Epic on-premise systems. The required solution must handle both credit and Interac (debit) card transactions, accommodating patient and non-patient workflows through seamless integration with Epic modules such as MyChart, Welcome Kiosk, Point of Sale (POS) devices, and associated revenue cycle applications including Cadence, Prelude, and Resolute Hospital Billing.
The solution should support a wide array of payment channels, including in-person, online, mobile, text-to-pay, telephone banking, and the MyChart portal. It is essential that the system ensures secure, scalable transactions and provides real-time or near-real-time reconciliation and posting of payments into Epic. Additional functionality such as multi-tender support (accepting FSA, payroll deduction, PayPal, Apple Pay, and more), unattended kiosks, mobile bedside delivery, and remote payment capabilities are required.
Advanced features such as robust reporting, automated reconciliation for all payment types, workstation activity tracking, tokenization of credit cards, and support for Epic I Frame transition are also necessary. The solution should provide strong monitoring and support capabilities across all deployed channels and markets.
