DESCRIPTION

The Ohio Department of Transportation is seeking bids for wet recovery retroreflectivity readings to perform activities related to acquiring pavement marking retroreflectivity data. The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, maintenance of traffic, and incidentals necessary to provide the Department with wet recovery pavement marking retroreflectivity data collected from various routes throughout the state of Ohio on an as-needed basis. The contract duration is 12 months from the date of award.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must have at least three years of retroreflectivity data collection experience with at least 50,000 cumulative miles collected
Must provide at least three examples of projects where wet recovery retroreflectivity measurements were performed in accordance with or equivalent to ASTM E 2177
Must have a competent and experienced supervisor/foreman on duty at all times when work is being performed
Must be registered with the State of Ohio in the Ohio Buys system
Must have an OAKS Payor ID
Must be able to accept both Purchase Order and State Payment Card forms of payment
Must provide a calibration certificate for each retroreflectometer showing calibration within the past year
Must have a written training and procedure manual for all operators and staff involved with the contract
Must comply with the State of Ohio's E-Verify Workforce Integrity Act
Must maintain commercial general liability insurance with limits no less than $2,000,000 per occurrence
Must maintain automobile liability insurance with a limit of no less than $1,000,000 per accident
Must maintain workers' compensation insurance with statutory limits and employer's liability insurance with a limit of no less than $1,000,000 per accident
