The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of providing pathology dictation software licenses and maintenance for the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center. This initiative covers a base year starting July 1, 2026, with four additional option years, and is designed to support the anatomic pathology department with dictation and reporting tools.

The required software solution must include multiple types of licenses and ongoing maintenance for both pathology dictation and voice recognition systems, such as Dragon Medical Software or equivalent. Features must include customizable templates, integration with the VistA HL7 interface, and adherence to College of American Pathologists (CAP) cancer checklist regulatory standards. The system must accommodate multiple concurrent users, provide user and CAP licenses, and offer comprehensive remote training for new users.

Qualified vendors will have a proven track record of successful system integration and must provide references. The objective is to facilitate efficient and compliant pathology reporting, streamline workflows, and ensure ongoing support and training for staff over the contract term.
