(1) Vendor needs to provide parking lot resurfacing and striping services to the government authority located in Temple, TX.– The Agency is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to establish an annual contract for parking lot resurfacing and striping at agency facilities, including agency buildings, parks, libraries, fire stations, and athletic complexes, on an as–needed basis.– The awarded contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools, materials, traffic control devices, and services necessary to perform parking lot resurfacing and striping. – Not all parking lots may require resurfacing. – All associated costs with labor, overhead, mileage, travel, mobilization, and administrative expenses must be included in the proposed pricing. No additional fees will be allowed beyond those submitted in the proposal.– PARKING LOT RESURFACING shall include the following:• Basic Surface Preparation – Light cleaning or blowing off debris to ensure paint adhesion and visibility. Power washing may be required in areas with oil, grease, grime, or dirt accumulation that could prevent paint from adhering properly.• Crack Sealing – Identification and sealing of surface cracks using hot–applied or cold–applied sealants to prevent water infiltration and extend pavement life.• Edge Grinding (if applicable) – Grinding or milling of pavement edges to ensure smooth transitions between resurfaced and existing areas.• Asphalt Overlay or Sealcoat Application – Application of new asphalt layer or sealcoat to restore surface integrity, improve appearance, and protect against weathering and traffic wear.• Layout and Measurement – Accurate measurement of resurfacing area in square feet, ensuring coverage aligns with site plans or designated resurfacing zones.• Traffic Control and Safety Measures – Implementation of cones, barricades, and signage to ensure safe work zones and minimize disruption to public access.• Cure Time and Reopening Protocol – Allowance for proper curing of materials
