The State of California is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a comprehensive, reliable, and scalable parking citation system. The required solution must be compatible with existing hardware and capable of integrating seamlessly with other enforcement technologies and city systems currently in use.
Key features of the system include a mobile citation issuance component that allows for the issuance of printed parking citations, real-time data exchange, and efficient enforcement task management. The mobile system must be compatible with Apple iOS devices, specifically iPhones and iPads, and provide a user-friendly interface optimized for field use by parking enforcement personnel. Additionally, the system should enable real-time synchronization of citation data with the central database to streamline operations and reporting.
The Citation Management System must be browser-based and fully supported on all major browsers, including Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari, without the requirement for plugins such as Java, Silverlight, or Flash. The contract for this project will span five years.
