The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Air–Anti Submarine Warfare (ASW) Systems Program Office (PMA–264), based in Patuxent River, MD, seeks support tasks to further improve the P-8A Acoustic Operational Flight Program (AOFP) acoustic software and correct any identified defects. This initiative covers the P–8A Acoustic Operational Flight Program Capability Defect Package (CDP) and addresses tasks related to acoustic software enhancements, as well as Correction of Deficiency (COD) efforts for the P–8A Poseidon Increment 3 (INC3) Acoustics (I3A).
The work will involve implementing CDP fixes that address issues and deficiencies identified through Software Trouble Reports (STRs). The intended place of performance is primarily at Huntington Beach, CA, with additional work in California, MD and Patuxent River, MD. The effort is aimed at maintaining and improving the operational effectiveness of the P–8A Poseidon's mission-critical acoustic software systems.
