DESCRIPTION
The government authority in Ontario is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive outsourced finance and accounting services. The selected firm will be responsible for transactional accounting support, monthly and governance reporting, audit preparation, compliance administration, payment management, and related financial advisory services, tailored to the organization's operational complexity.
Services required include managing accounts receivable and payable processes, corporate credit card transaction processing, accurate general ledger maintenance, and ensuring supporting documentation and audit trails are properly maintained. Vendors will also handle aged receivables and payables reconciliation when needed.
Additional tasks involve business bank account reconciliation, processing of bank charges and direct transactions, supporting cash flow visibility, and preparing monthly cash flow reports. Payroll transaction recording, account reconciliation, and the maintenance of payroll-related financial documentation are vital components. The scope further covers compliance with tax obligations, monthly reporting, internal controls, year-end and audit support, and robust management of payment administration.
