DESCRIPTION
A government authority in Lake George, New York is seeking a contractor to provide outsourced accounting and financial services under a two-year agreement. The selected firm will support the organization both as a transition partner during its move toward in-house financial management and as an ongoing provider of core accounting services.
The scope includes assessing the current state of financial records, accounts, and documentation; advising on accounting software selection and implementation, including system configuration and staff onboarding; and training staff on adopted systems, software, and procedures. The contractor will also identify compliance gaps or transition-related risks and recommend remediation measures.
In addition, the firm will provide advisory support to the executive director on financial management best practices, with particular relevance to state- and federally funded programs. Other transition-related consulting services may be assigned as directed by the executive director. Questions are due by June 3, 2026.
