The Port in Washington is seeking a strategic consultant to lead efforts in organizational continuity and resiliency. This engagement involves a comprehensive approach, including organizational transformation, a technical pilot for continuity and resiliency, and the potential for a Port-wide Phase 2 implementation. The consultant will deliver recommendations and support to enhance preparedness and response capabilities within the Port's cyber, operational, and technological environments.
Key responsibilities include developing a technology risk management strategy aligned with industry standards, assessing and refining incident response protocols, and building a scalable framework for continuity and resilience processes. The scope also covers the creation and implementation of business and technical continuity plans for a designated Pilot Mission Essential Function (MEF).
Project management is a critical aspect of this engagement. The consultant will work closely with the Port's Program Manager and Project Managers to establish effective project methodologies, scheduling, and management practices. Project deliverables and schedules will be managed using Microsoft Project, with secure document storage facilitated through SharePoint. The contract for this engagement will span one year.
