The organization seeks a vendor to develop and deliver an online travel reservation system. The required solution involves creating a booking engine landing page where the public can reserve hotels, air travel, and rental cars, accessible from two separate agency websites. The design must adhere to the responsive standards of agency web properties and be submitted for agency approval within fifteen calendar days after contract award.
The booking engine should offer customizable search results for hotel, air, and rental car reservations based on customer-provided criteria. Proposals may include APIs permitting the agency to extract booking data directly. The system must also support agency use of cookies, as well as store GPS-enabled location data on the Airports Authority’s server. The vendor is responsible for managing all credit card transactions, providing customer service, and ensuring full PCI compliance for the booking interface.
Additionally, the chosen contractor must track and manage all transactions accessed via the Airports Authority’s websites, instituting controls to ensure accuracy and integrity in transaction processing. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for April 2, 2026.
Best-fit vendors:
• Proven experience developing travel reservation or booking systems
• Expertise in responsive web design and integration with agency websites
• Ability to provide APIs for data extraction and advanced booking features
• Demonstrated capabilities in PCI-compliant payment processing and transaction tracking
• Prior experience serving airports, government bodies, or large enterprises
