A vendor is sought to provide a comprehensive web-based platform for online assessments and data management. The platform must feature a test generator, accessible item banks, integrated data disaggregation tools, and the capability to import standardized testing data files such as STAAR, SST, SAT, ACT, QTI, AP, TFAR, and TSIA. Additional requirements include support for T-TESS and T-PESS evaluation management, generation of teacher incentive allotment reports, and tools for tracking Student Learning Objective (SLO) processes and professional development opportunities.
The system should offer robust data disaggregation, allowing end users to analyze opportunities for improvement across different levels, from individual students to the agency level, with filtering for groups including special education, gifted/talented, career/technical, emergent bilingual, race/ethnicity, economically disadvantaged, and migrant students. Users should be able to create custom student groups and utilize longitudinal analytics with customizable filters. The platform must support 13,000 simultaneous online assessment users and provide automated integration and synchronization for all staff and student accounts.
The item bank should incorporate English and Spanish content aligned to elementary core subjects from kindergarten through fifth grade, with tools for agency-level item reservation. For T-TESS/T-PESS management, the system should enable appraisers to evaluate staff using the latest standards, while dashboards and export features streamline monitoring and reporting of appraisal progress.
Best-fit vendors:
• Experience developing large-scale educational software platforms
• Expertise in online assessment systems and data analytics
• Proven capability to integrate with standardized testing data formats
• Operational presence or service history in Texas or similar education markets
• Familiarity with K-12 educator evaluation processes (T-TESS/T-PESS)
