The state of Georgia is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive offender communications services for correctional facilities. The required services encompass offender telecommunications, video visitation systems (VVS), mobile device/tablet solutions, electronic trust account deposit applications, and debit release cards. These services must incorporate effective investigative tools and enable methods for tracking and reporting all communications conducted by offenders.
Vendors are expected to deliver correctional-grade mobile devices or tablets that offer offenders access to a suite of pre-approved applications. These applications include, but are not limited to, electronic messaging, educational resources, instructional materials, entertainment options, media access, offender and medical requests, grievance submissions, and commissary ordering.
Additionally, integration with the facility's offender management system (OMS) Scribe is required, utilizing web service REST protocols or file transfer methods. The provider must also supply a fully implemented video visitation platform, featuring automated scheduling and support for remote video visitation sessions, to facilitate secure and efficient communication between offenders and their contacts.
