The government authority in Danville, Virginia requires consultant services for the development of neighbourhood action plans. Consultants will work collaboratively with two local neighbourhoods to establish specific goals and create individual comprehensive plans known as neighbourhood action plans. The engagement includes at least four meetings with neighbourhood groups, with a minimum of two being in-person sessions.
Consultants will provide biweekly updates to city staff through memos, virtual meetings, in-person meetings, or other agreed means. The scope further involves data mining and information collection to manage and extract neighbourhood demographics, population statistics, and community goals. Up to two drafts of the neighbourhood action plan are to be prepared for each neighbourhood before the final document submission.
