The Town of Kennebunkport, Maine is seeking a qualified vendor to implement an integrated Municipal Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software solution. The objective is to replace existing standalone systems with a modern, efficient, and user-friendly platform that unifies essential municipal functions such as tax billing, payroll, utility billing, cash receipting, general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, and reporting.
The desired ERP system should provide enhanced reporting and analytics by offering real-time access to financial and operational data, supporting both informed decision-making and regulatory compliance requirements. The solution must deliver an intuitive interface for staff and residents, reducing manual data entry and streamlining workflows, including payroll processing, billing operations, and account reconciliations. Key functionalities should include comprehensive tax management, centrally managed revenue receipting, automated payroll with regulatory compliance, efficient accounts payable processing, and robust technical integration across modules. Compatibility with State of Maine databases, support for standard data exchange formats, and integration capabilities with common municipal tools, such as Microsoft 365 and GIS applications, are also required.
The initial contract term for this project will be one year. Vendors with proven experience in deploying integrated municipal ERP solutions and supporting municipal operations are encouraged to respond.
