Ontario is seeking a vendor to deliver comprehensive internet and telephone voting services and systems for the 2026 municipal and school board elections. The successful provider will supply a bilingual (English and French) voting platform to each of the four participating municipalities. All system documentation and voter communications must be available in both official languages.
The required solution must ensure full compatibility with Datafix products and support live updates to voter information until the close of polls. Voters should be able to access the system using any mobile device or computer, and the platform must accommodate additional voter questions, if necessary. Telephone voting must be accessible through a toll-free, touchtone system, including functionality for voters calling from outside Canada.
Vendors must also provide opportunities for both staff and candidates to test the voting system at least 30 days prior to the voting period. All clarifying questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted by November 13, 2025.
