A government authority in Los Angeles, California is seeking a vendor to provide multimodal planning consulting services. The selected consultant will be responsible for preparing various transportation studies, including traffic analyses for terminal and roadway projects, as well as Caltrans Project Study Reports, Project Reports, and environmental documentation.

The scope includes travel demand modeling, which involves developing and forecasting with comprehensive Transportation Analysis Models, advancement of port-specific trip generation models, management of trip distribution data sets, and proper model calibration. Rail modeling and transportation technology services are also required, comprising on-call Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) research, evaluation, planning, preliminary design (systems engineering), and implementation support for both roadway and railroad projects.
