Delaware seeks a motor fuel licensing and tax filing solution with e-filing, EDI, and compliance features for fuel industry stakeholders.
(1) Vendor needs to provide motor fuel licensing and tax filing services to the government authority located in Delaware.– A solution for Motor Fuel / Special Fuel Tax Reporting and Audit Compliance, to provide online credentialing (licensing), monthly tax return e–filing and e–payment capabilities to personnel and motor Fuel / special fuel dealers, suppliers, retailers, and transporters. Also looking for the same system to provide Electronic Data Interchange (“EDI”) functionality for the Fuel industry to file tax returns. This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and transparency of motor fuel tax collection, licensing, auditing, and compliance activities. The new system will support electronic filing, real–time data analysis, automated workflows, and improved taxpayer services. The system allows the system administrator to add or obsolete records to reference tables. The system allows system administrators to define new fuels tax attributes when new fuel types are added to the reference tables. The system allows the Motor Fuel Tax Manager to access staff task assignments. The system allows vendors to print their official license copy after approval by Fuel Tax Staff. The system provides dashboard for user role specific pending tasks. For large tax payers system allows schedules upload from electronic file format at daily Bill of Lading Level. System provides API that can be used to display current Licensee data on State Website. The system performs integrity validation to ensure tax reports meet data requirements prior to allowing the applicant to submit a tax report. (2) All the questions must be submitted no later than December 24, 2025.
