The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a qualified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) contractor to modernize multiple elevators at the Central Iowa Health Care System (VACIHCS) in Des Moines, Iowa. This project, designated as NRM Construction Project 636A6-22-500, will involve a comprehensive upgrade of elevator components and controls to enhance safety and operational standards, ensuring compliance with current codes and directives.

The modernization work encompasses elevators identified as A–East (Passenger), A–West (Passenger), B–Passenger, B–Service, C–Passenger, D–Passenger, E–Passenger, and K–Freight.
