The Legislative Assembly of British Columbia is seeking a Microsoft Licensing Solutions Partner to manage, support, and optimize its Enterprise Agreements (EA) and Cloud Services Agreements (CSA) for Microsoft products, including IAAS, SAAS, and PAAS. The selected partner will provide comprehensive support, training, and development services related to Microsoft licensing, aiming to improve operational efficiency and enhance end-user experiences.
Key responsibilities include providing expert guidance on licensing models, usage rights, compliance, and optimization, as well as delivering regular quarterly analyses of licensing and consumption. The partner will also offer recommendations for process improvements, develop product roadmaps, and advise on migration paths. Management of stakeholder expectations and effective communication are essential elements of this role.
The vendor is expected to facilitate onboarding through a clearly defined transition plan detailing methodologies, milestones, deliverables, timelines, risks, and mitigation strategies. Additional duties include conducting licensing assessments, supporting the use of Microsoft 365 and associated Software Assurance benefits, delivering annual reporting, and proactively engaging in the annual True Up process. The agreement will cover a three-year contract period.
