(1) Vendor needs to provide metal detection solution.– Agency is seeking an advanced metal detection technology solution for determining service line material.– The solution should include field instrumentation, data analysis and reporting capabilities that clearly present the results. Material types that should be able to be identified include copper, plastic, lead and galvanized materials. Quality control parameters need to be assessed to ensure quality data results. • Overall system requirements: Identify ferrous vs non–ferrous material; Differentiate non–ferrous material into at least lead and copper categories; Assess plastic as a material option; Have mapping capabilities; Have field tools designed to increase success of survey; Have capabilities to mark key aspects within a yard. (2) All the questions must be submitted no later than January 23, 2026. (3) The contract period will be for three years.
