The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is seeking membership and licensing agreements for various Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) software users groups. These groups include the Human Reliability Analysis (HRA) Calculator Users Group, Fault Tree Reliability Evaluation Expert (FTREX) Users Group, and Integrated Risk Technologies (IRT) Users Group.

EPRI is an industry consortium established to promote research and development within the electric utility sector, particularly in support of nuclear power safety and reliability. EPRI's specialized software tools and methodologies are widely used by NRC staff and licensees for conducting critical nuclear analyses.

The NRC intends to establish a firm fixed price, five-year agreement with EPRI to facilitate ongoing access to these essential software suites. This initiative will support continued collaboration and standardization in the domains of human reliability, fault tree analysis, and integrated risk evaluation within the nuclear industry.
