The selected vendor must also be capable of performing seed money calculations for structured settlement considerations when applicable. Standard MSA services will apply to claims that meet review thresholds and involve non-catastrophic injuries with expected future medical exposure. Zero or Limited MSA services will apply where an MSA allocation is not warranted, or where the claimant had two or fewer causally related medical treatments in the previous 12 months and no prescription allocation.
Catastrophic or complex MSA services may be required for claims involving severe injuries. The anticipated contract term is five years.
