A vendor is sought to provide comprehensive web-based Medicaid billing services in support of Virginia's school-based Medicaid program. The selected contractor will deliver an integrated billing solution that includes a customized web-based platform compliant with program requirements, covering functions such as scheduling, case-load management, claim submission, and management of denied claims, including resubmission as needed.

The scope of services includes initial onsite training for implementation, as well as ongoing electronic and telephone technical assistance. The system must offer robust online tracking and reporting functionalities with the ability to filter data by provider type, service type, supervisor, school location, billing status, and other relevant categories. Additionally, the solution will require authentication integration using Active Directory or Active Directory Federation Services.

Other key responsibilities include performing quality control through documentation review, providing a responsive help desk, and offering Medicaid consultation services regarding school-based Medicaid policy and procedures. The contractor will be expected to supply sophisticated reporting tools and ensure compliance with all specified terms and conditions of the contract.
