DESCRIPTION

The Judiciary, State of Hawaii, is requesting proposals for mediation and related dispute resolution services. The scope of work includes providing mediation and related dispute resolution services for appropriate cases in the judicial circuits in the State of Hawaii, establishing and maintaining referral and intake services, and providing administration and assistance to the courts in connection with mediation services for court matters. The initial term of the contract is from July 1, 2027, to June 30, 2029, with the possibility of a two-year extension.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have licenses and certificates as applicable in accordance with federal, state, and county regulations
  • Must have an accounting system in compliance with generally acceptable accounting principles
  • Must have sufficient trained and qualified mediators
  • Must have at least one person on the premises currently certified in First Aid and CPR
  • Must conduct State and Federal fingerprint-based criminal history record checks for all personnel with access to vulnerable clients
  • Must conduct searches of the State and National Sex Offender Registries for all personnel with access to vulnerable clients
  • Must have a quality assurance plan
  • Must provide proof of insurance coverage as applicable
  • Must be registered on the Hawaii State eProcurement System (HIePRO)
