A three-year contract opportunity is available in Illinois for a vendor specializing in media monitoring and press release distribution services. The selected vendor will be required to provide comprehensive media monitoring and access to an up-to-date and verified media contact database, which should include journalists, editors, producers, bloggers, and freelancers. Services also encompass distribution of press releases, with an annual volume of 20 releases to the Illinois state wire and 5 releases to national wires, or alternatively, 25 releases to national wires.

The scope includes tracking of social media mentions within news sites and blogs, such as embedded posts from platforms like Twitter/X. Vendors must deliver robust analytics following distribution, including metrics such as opens, clicks, forwards, undeliverable messages, and engagement statistics with top outlets. Further metrics desired include volume, reach or circulation, impressions, ad value/equivalency, share of voice, potential audience, and message pull–through. Additional requirements include advanced filtering options for targeting, the ability to build and maintain custom distribution lists, deduplication, suppression lists, opt-out management, and bounce handling.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on February 16, 2026. The contract will last for a period of three years.
