A professional vendor is sought to provide comprehensive media and communications services in Alaska. The selected vendor will offer support in strategic communications planning, digital content creation, public relations, and coordinated outreach efforts with coalition partners.

Responsibilities will include developing quarterly communications plans that align with organizational mission, values, and ongoing campaigns, as well as offering guidance on long-term brand positioning initiatives. The vendor will ensure disciplined and consistent messaging across various programs and committees, especially in areas such as Arctic, Energy, Wilderness & Parks, Renewable resources, and Issues Committee updates.

The scope of work also covers drafting and designing social media posts, newsletters, action alerts, and public updates; managing content distribution across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and optionally TikTok and X; as well as maintaining social media content calendars and providing rapid-response communications for emergent policy updates. Additional support includes writing press releases, web updates, fundraising messages, and advocacy materials.

For public relations, the vendor will draft and submit letters to the editor, opinion pieces, PSAs, media advisories, and press releases. They will also support targeted press outreach, help foster relationships with Alaska media outlets, assist with interview and message preparation for staff and board members, and maintain records of earned media coverage.
