A Michigan school district is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a mass notification system designed for K–12 educational environments. The district requires a non-proprietary, standards-based, and scalable public address (PA)/intercom system, with solutions such as VoIP/SIP-based or hybrid configurations considered based on compatibility and expandability.
The desired system must support functionalities including All-Call, zone paging, full intercom and talkback across required locations, and comprehensive emergency notification and alerting integration. Additionally, paging capabilities should be accessible from the main office as well as other key administrative areas. Seamless integration with the district's current phone system (MiTel MiVB) is essential, enabling announcements from any analog or VoIP phone and supporting flexible, software-defined zoning to accommodate operational needs.
This project is intended for experienced vendors capable of delivering reliable, future-focused mass notification solutions that enhance school safety and communication.
